> Sent: Tue, Oct 18, 2011 6:54 am Subject: SRP residential solar electric incentive reduction
Attention Contractors: As you will recall, SRP set up a declining incentive schedule tied to how much solar capacity is added through the program this fiscal year (May 1, 2011 - April 30, 2012). Specifically, SRP set aside funding for a total of 4.5 megawatts (MW) of residential solar electric installations through April 30, 2012. The incentive level structure is $1.35 per watt for the first 2 MW of installations and adjusts to $1.20 per watt for another 1.5 MW of installations, ending at $1.00 per watt for the remaining 1 MW of installations. We have reached the first cap at 2 MW and will be reducing the incentive from the current $1.35 per watt to $1.20 per watt effective 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2011. We will honor the $1.35/watt incentive level for residential customers who have submitted complete and accurate applications prior to the deadline. Complete application packages can be submitted to SRP using one of the following methods: • E-mail at
